Mr. Carey was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1958; Mr. Carey served as a Hillsborough County Circuit Judge from January 2003 through January 2009. During that time, he served in the Felony Drug Court Division, Dependency Division, Family Law Division and Circuit Civil Division. Prior to serving as a Circuit Judge, Mr. Carey was a shareholder at the Carlton Fields law firm. Mr. Carey is AV rated.
